Technology has certainly helped streamline the book buying and selling back process. Now, parents, faculty, and students can buy, rent, and sell textbooks online without much hassle at all. It seems the largest bother nowadays is deciding on what bookstore vendor to use for your school.

Earlier this month, Business Managers on ISM’s Business Manager listserv were asking which e-bookstore their schools preferred. The following list is compiled from suggested vendors mentioned by our listserv community.

eCampus.com. This site serves K-12 and college students. Beyond books, they also sell and buy DVDs and Blu-Ray.

ClassBook.com This vendor offers a few more bells and whistles such as customized buying solutions that allow for purchased using financial aid awards, custom printing and binding of supplemental readers, and a personal, on-call account manager and support team to customize your school’s Online Bookstore Solution.

Follet Educational Services. Follet.com Follet works with K-12 schools only. They offer textbooks, classroom materials, test prep resources, audiovisual, digital, and an array of school supplies.

MBS Direct. Mbsbooks.com MBS has been in business for over 100 years, changing with the times to incorporate virtual learning materials into their inventory.
