Where do you stand today and where should you go from here?

The racial awakening of 2020 called attention to the inequities and racialized experiences in independent schools.

Many schools responded with increased professional development, by reviewing and changing policies and curricula, and making strides in recruiting and retaining diverse student and faculty populations. The term “anti-racism” began appearing regularly in conversations as a goalpost for the work ahead.

And yet, many schools moved without a clear sense of what anti-racism means and how to institutionalize it. Join us to explore how to operationalize anti-racism in independent schools, calling attendees to strategic action and deep-rooted change.
